YouTube videos: Virginia Tornadoes (Monday, April 28)

Officials are still surveying the damage in southeastern Virginia, where three tornadoes touched down Monday afternoon. As of this morning, authorities said the storms injured more than 200 people. There are o lot of funny videos on YouTube, but this one isn't funny.



Video of these tornado events usually show up on YouTube within a few hours, and the Virginia storms are no different. Here's a list of YouTube videos from a search for "Virginia tornado."



A Colonial Heights police dispatcher there hung up the phone, saying authorities were too busy to talk.

Property damage also was reported in Brunswick County, one of several localities where the National Weather Service had issued a tornado warning. Trees and power lines were down, and some flooding was reported.
